Pick up group Tuesday 11th July

As before it is a sign up event for 8 people interested in planning to run as a random Pick up Group for one night only. The emphasis is on light hearted fun. We try to make it as balanced as possible.

Date is Tuesday the 11th July - that is next week. Time 7pm UK time kick off and finish 10.30 +.

Everyone should be ready to use voice comms either Ventrilo or Teamspeak - I would advise everyone to have the following installed so we can move across servers on diffierent platforms.

We run a no add policy on this group even if we are randoms. The emphasis is on meeting people and having a go at running in a full group.

The idea behind this group is for people to have a chance at meeting others and hopefully you will get to know a number of people who are like minded. I would be pleased if some of you formed your own groups as a result of meeting on this.

I also would request that if you sign-up that you do everything to either show or you tell us that you cannot make it. It is frustrating to try and fill spots when people cannot make it. So please folks try to let us know what is happening.

Please only sign up if you intend to come yadda yadda yadda...

they got good utility in group you know - can dd through bodyguard etc. Plus in one spec they have a good root ability... I would not hesitate to have a vamp in a group - once they are rezzed with PR they are back to 97% effectiveness without the need for buffs etc...

Another point is the ranged leeching thingy - that can be used whilst in combat if the vamp is good enough to interrupt casters...

Crispy I have no clue what your on about BTW remember I only know how to interrupt and keep stuff standing. All the other stuff is too complicated for one with a brain the size of an unripened pea.

Sharkith, don't give up, I think you are leading by example.

The only thing the Albs have at the minute is the iRvR port and the organisation to do something with it.

Hibs, generally (and I hate generalisations) appear to run around like headless chickens and just feed the farm.

Albs have very RvR orientated alliances (HB being the one I know) who can make 3 or 4 effective groups quite easily and work together, I am not sure Hib can do that at the moment.

Maybe the answer is new alliances, so those of like minds have a larger pool of players to choose from?

Anyway, I am looking forward to tomorrow

2 bains + chanter - sounds like a nice combo for farming the zerg xD

Hero got bg? Then we got a deadly combo for fg fights of any kind! Both hero and vamp can take ALOT of dmg vs full caster groups and vs tank groups i got tendrils and hero might have bg Cant wait to see the tank flee in fear of the caster just to get surprised at some tendrils on their way back to hug the healers

Played well i think this is one hell of a good setup.

Hey sharkith. Chin up, not all albs "play like a bunch of fuckwits." you know. I will agree that albs badly outnumber the other realms at the moment but last night it was alot better and more even. We(Arctic Circle) will leave pretty much all fg v fg fights go. We have had some fun fights the past few weeks so don't give up....

BTW as crazy as it sounds us albs are also missing alot of our guild groups. I can only speak for the pryd side as i still dont know the Excals much but PE, FL, AoD....our 3 main RvR guilds have not been running at all for quite some time.

I got a hibbie in the making to so i can farm the alb zerg
