Big Trips...

Nice photos - hope you're having a good time. Travelling is the closest you get to actual 'Freedom'

My girlfriend and I's trip is virtually at an end.

I left on 1st Mar 02.

LA, San Fransisco, Las Vegas - 4 weeks

Cook Islands, Fiji - a week each

New Zealand - 6 weeks

Sydney for 4 months then down to Melbourne via Canberra then onto Adelaide. Back to Sydney and then up to Brisbane and Cairns.

If you get to Brisbane - visit 'The Bunker' - its on the main shopping street (Queen St I think) - its one of the best LAN's i've come across. Also try 'Dreamnet' (straight out of the station towards the westfield shopping centre on your right) in Chatswood in Sydney - few stops up on the North Shore line. Thats if you fancy a game or two

Its funny how everyone goes the same places.

Where are you now?

I'm In Cairns now - fly out in 2 days to Thailand for 2 weeks and then home -

What kind of camera and lens are they taken on Ch3tan?

Yeah I will be heading up to Brisbane at some point, flight out to LA is from there.

In Sydney at the moment, staying with relatives so it's a lot cheaper!

Canon Powershot G3 Tom, with the lens it comes with (google it ), The Singapore ones at night are very shaky as I didnt have a tripod with me, but still cool.

If you have a monitor capable of big resolutions then click full on the top right of gallery whilst viewing each individual shot, will show the original 2272 * 1704 shot.

EDIT: Here you go Tom. 7.2mm wide - 28.8mm tele-photo (35 - 140 35mm equiv) f2.0 wide - f3.0 tele-photo.

Only almost? Bah! They need a bit of photoshopping to sharpen them, and I realised that I havent been shooting in low compression JPEG mode.

Should be 28 or so photos up now, not sure how many more I can get up. Mystic G is hosting them for me as gallery software refuses to work on BW hosting, and I am sure he is running short of space.

Incidently see if you can spot Summo in the Mardi-gras pic in the Sydney album
