pets?

how do pets get up on a keep wall when you are rading it and havnt got throught the doors?

can they climb or do you spawn them up there?

just saw a load of pets attacking the keep guards and wodered how they got up there...

btw... not accusing ne1... just something i read in another thread.. is using PBAOE on the door keeper so it effects the door aswell.. is that a bug? not a bug? allowed?

We dont use pbaoe on doorkeeper.. we use it to directly harm the area surrounding us.. including door, doorkeeper, possible zerkling on other side of door...

And... ive never seen excactly how pet gets on defenders... but he seems to do

i thought PBAOE didnt harm the door if there wasnt ne1 in range though...

Nope.. you dont target it on anything.. you just cast it.. zero or hundred targets around..

but i thought that if you used PBAOE it will not attack a door... it will only damage a door if there is something else in range aswell

Para, i know they can hit the mfg doors without other targets in range, no clue about keep doors tho.

i know cuz when pbae ppl are looking for stealthers it always hits the door(if its in range) wether there is enemies around or not.

Point Blank Area of Effect DAMAGE what in this is not clear to u ?

And once more to straighten it PBae DOES NOT have any bugs in it shooting through floor with it is not a bug! It has very small radious and as point blank it'll hit _everything_ it can hit inside it's area.

Interestingly thought.

If pbaoe isn't bugged how come some need a legitimate enemy being targeted and some don't.

The thanes 0 range aoe requires a target to be cast, and it can't be a friendly or a door. In fact none of the thane spells can be cast on a door or at a ground target.

Only certain spells seem to be able to do this...

So far I've only really played a thane to a decent lvl but would be interested to hear from other casters what does and doesn't work. I know the only other area effect spell I have (hammers) doesn't seem to be of any use in keep raids as I have yet to hit anything behind the doors with it, either targeting the gatekeeper or the door (can't fire on door.)

Omfg! what part of point blank do you not understand? the target is YOU!

And if you cant use it, then bad for you good for us. But i know i used it with my thane in beta. And i know clerics can use it too. So why wouldnt you be able to? hard to click on the button?

PBaoe does not need any target at all to be casted you can even target yourself, only exception is doors and items and graves and when u have those targetted u cannot cast. But to make some point here is that Point Blank means no target so target shouldn't matter it will just hit all in its range it can hit, so simple is that.

Soon Mythic declares it's a 9 month old bug that they decided to leave in place because PBAoE didn't seem to do as much as damage, but their recent testings have shown it to do more damage than meant. They decide to cut PBAoE damage in half and quadruple the timers.

Stop saying something isn't a bug, you bloody well know about the ridiculous stealth-nerf... Mythic's fixed it multiple times earlier and then put it back in short notice... It really doesn't matter if it's a bug or not, if enough people compain about it and Mythic can't think of anything else, it WILL be a bug.
