Pets and dead middies!

I was in emain the other day and i saw the strangest sight a lvl 50 middie was being used as dog food by a young lvl 41 minstrel. The poor middies corpse was now the play thing for a lowbie and her pet. I heard a tiny amount of albs complaining about this, but from what i could tell the vast majority of people found it funny and amusing to see i for one did. Just wana hear peoples opinions on the subject as some people seem to be against people having a laugh ps i hear that sending your pets onto dead middies ruins their epic armour, is this true?

Tis ok to have a laugh, it's just when it gets out of hand and you get groups camping corpses for 10 mins just to see em auto release, that it becomes unfunny and extremely stupid. Anyway thats my opinion as a cleric who likes to show off ma shiny res and dislikes having to shift 8 mids to do so.

Yes, if you set a pet onto a corpse, it attacks and damages the armour the same as being in combat.

It's a method of getting people to release faster I guess...

It's a cheap trick and I always yell at anyone I see doing it, can't believe that people would be so petty, but they are.

Armour indeed degrades when you're dead and someone is hitting your corpse. And what is more is the fact that it degrades 4 times as fast when you are being hit while dead. Mythic put this in the games to prevent dead people from spying too much so the enemy could just make them release by hitting their corpse.

Belive me, it's not funny to see your epic armor degrade 4 times as fast

ahh then it's settled, if u dont want your epic armour ruined RELEASE and dont spy. GOA have given us the power to stop people spying, so i say we use it

Think i was there, the dead middy also had three albs jumping on it, a minstrel mezzing the body, and two scouts shooting it...


I think the middy did get the idea to release eventually
