Petition: GOA Give european servers CSR's

This is not a GOA flame, I just want everyone who thinks we should at least get in game CSR's to sign below! I will then mail the link to GOA.

But they haven't and show no sign of doing so do they? Be a realistic, they aren't giving us what we are paying for.

Although realistically I'd say we have more choice of GOA mailing out free crack and heroin than we do of them actually attempting to improve their dire customer services.

For some I guess it can give a sence of security. Maybe like the father that was never there for you.

Other than that, it'd be fucking useless.

or they could unstick you when /stuck dont work instead of having to emil rightnever. Little things!

why would we need CSRs? so we can pay people to sit there and answer all the frivolous pointless whines of the playerbase?

at least with RightNow people have to do something to ask for help - so they'll only report things they're bothered about enough to go to RightNow for.

i do not miss CSR in Euro DAOC, even if the USA version seems to have some nice CSR guys, i do not think this is a selling point.

I would however love to have ONE cooperative server, like they have in the US. I dont see why we do not have one, so that we can explore all 3 realms with one char, not all ppl have the time to lvl chars to 50 on all realms, this should make the casual gamer happy.

It would be cheaper to implement a third English server than to give us CSR's and do you see a third English server ;)?

I won't sign when their money could be going towards something better like a third English server.

3rd english server would probably decrease the enjoyment of the game on prydwen for a lot of people, so it isnt a good move. However getting csr's will most likely mean paying more, besides there has been a poll about what people wanted. Off course people want better service they always want that, but at the moment people want faster patching over better customer service and better customer service doesnt even have to mean that people want in game csr's.

or you could take the time just to have a duel with someone - and get rezzed - thats what i did once, and i became unstuck, saved a lot of hassle.

On the subject of the petition:

/agree with Driwen - to have CSR's in game 24/7 it would require paying those people. so lets summize -

lets say they have to do a general days work (8 hours) you would need a minimum of 3 people per server.

If we're talking the english server thats 6 people. Each person would want paying as per a normal workplace (minimum 15k a year ? seem ok ?)

Now lets see the total 6 people - 15k a year - thats 90,000 UK pounds a year (more in euros) just to keep the UK fanbase (and those on the UK servers) happy. Even on 10k a year thats 60,000 a year.

I have only taken into account that theres is only one operative per server at any one time. I'd say you'd need at least 3 per server. So you can triple the wage bill straight away. 270,000 and 180,000 uk pounds.

Now realistically... can u see it happen ?

it means that only 12% want goa to improve their customer service rather than spend the money on something else. So it does mean that less than 12% wants goa to start working on in game csr instead of other area's. Everyone would like in game csr's, but most people rather want to have changed other stuff first. So thats what goa will work on first and then probably first improve communication and rightnow before beginning to think about csr's (which I doubt will ever happen as it isnt requires badly as long as rightnow works fine and it costs alot of money).


about being stuck somewhere I dont know how fast goa worked for others. But for me the next workingday I was unstuck again. Btw sometimes the /duel trick doesnt work and sometimes you cant get a mob to kill you either so goa needs to help you out.

If Goa were hiring more people I'd prefer that they were working in bug fixing and patch translation rather than in game CSRs. These same extra people could also be working through Rightnow tickets.
