I have just watched a DVD of this guy at Blackpool tower. IMO I have had a better laugh catching my cock in my zip! He uses the same jokes all the time!

I have heard a load about this guy, but nah not my cuppa IMO, so come on let me know, is he yours :) (ermm how do I put a poll on?)

If Steve Coogan and Peter Kay were in a boxing match, who would win?

My money is on Coogan, he'd kick Kay in the bollocks like a big girl.

First saw Peter Kay in Manchester, introducing Doves. He got something of a warm welcome.

I had to get one of my mates to explain who he was afterwards

I've seen the Live At The Top Of The Tower and Live At The Bolton Albert Halls, both are piss funny.

Yes, I dont find Phoenix Nights funny, but his stand-up is brilliant.

I do think he's pretty funny. I was the mate in question that FBM referred to earlier, and being in Manchester, surrounded by locals, I can't help but be exposed to the man.

I do think he's very funny. Yes, he repeats his jokes, and he'll need to think of some new ones to maintain his act pretty soon, but he is a naturally funny guy. imho etc.

Me too \o/

Peter Kay is hilarious, although I guess being from up north I can appreciate his humour a little better. He is beginning to grate on me a little though, he says "whats that all about" far too often and usually repeats the same joke on stage, probably as most of his audience is old ladies. His parkie interview was shit as he didnt stfu and actually answer questions.

Still love him though!

I've not really seen or heard much of Kay, but this interview was quite bad. He said the odd thing, which tickled a laugh. But, the vast majority fell flat on its face with a polite trickle of laughter in the audience. Parkie, bless his socks was trying so hard to laugh with conviction.
