Pennine Route to Alb backyard?

Could really use one of these if anyone has a mob map or even better a safe route thru it?

Ive seen that region eat whole hib armies before, so if anyone has some spawn / guard route maps post um up pls ;p

Spawns or guards, you have to go through one of them...
I can normally avoid spawns but then guards don't worry me. And no I'm not telling you the route

Harry there is a very easy safe route to sauvage (snowdonia is another matter).

To get to sauvage:

1. Go to the entrance of the pennines.
2. Turn East and run all the way to the zone wall (thee are some trees of some sort around, they are easy to avoid).
3. Hug the zone wall All the way south to the river in forest Sauvage.

You will pass close to some forts, but as long as you are on the wall they won't bother you (don't try this going to snowdonia though as the patrols do go that high on the other side).

There is one tensemoment where there are some mobs with bows and arrow, they have fairly long aggro range, so be sure it is safe to cross there.

I have been to Sauvage a few timessince working out the route (I used to try a cpl of times each time I dinged, and finally worked it out - possibly the first non stealther on Excal to get to Sauvage?)


Everything there is very grey, and unlike at say ligen, you can kill a few albs outside thier realm gate, and no one will come to track you down. ( I have kileld a few greys there before, and waited, and waited, and waited ... nothing)

BTW don't try and go round the two guard towers to see the entrance until you are bored and want to go home.

Hmm i tried that route a few times, always get into trouble with the archers - maybe just bad timing, but the guard route seems to run right thru the archer spawn on the hillside above a lil wood so you dont see the guards coming thru the wood till its too late, then bang, xp killed.

Will try again tho, see if we just been unlucky before.

Well i have done it a few tiems, you do have to wait a while sometimes until all the archers have turned their backs, but I have never seen guards round there - perhaps I have been lucky 4 or 5 times, but I think it's more likely you have been unlucky.

since the patch I don't think there is a guard-free route through any frontier, as they widenedthe patrols. that said in hib at least you get less patrols up at the zone wall than in the middle.
As for archers, would that be the Tegs? They're elves you know... quite funny the hibs being killed by elves

Aye those fella's - its not them that kill us - its the guards that jump us after/during the fight when we not on full hits, thus get xp killed /

But happy to try again, Albion really deserves someone like me on their frontier ;p


Us hibbies are the only realm that makes the effort - take emain, we walk all the way to fight there because mids n albs are too lazy to walk to thier own frontiers, and instead port to ours.

If there are snipers etc at ligen or collery, never takes long for a squad to take um down... yet goto midgard, very rare to see anyone in odins gate, so we walk all the way to yggdra or uppland, kill everything that moves, and no one comes to their rescue cept the occasional guard spawn.

Be interesting to see if the albs make the effort

I have gone out to Hadrian's wall hunting hibs/mids numerous times. You rarely get them there though so most people don't bother. The mobs out there aren;t especially great to hunt, pennine is pretty good if you avoid some of the more dangerous spots (drakes and cyrhaeth spring to mind).

I was having same problem... but I tried hugging the east wall and made it all the way to the river... I didnt even see them archers??

Went to Sauvage twice today and returned once but...
was unable to pass that aggro Ted Rangers safely
so i gone west, then more west and rroad wasn't really straight...

but it is really funny to run alb's road and kill everyone u see without any resistance

its not that we cant be bothered aking the effort its as you stated our "albion" frontiers are ver y dangerous indeed . commons sense tells us to goto emain for rvr fun rather than risk a dangerous journy through our frontiers to hardians and risk a exp death .and there might not even be any enemys thereto duel with . dueto how dangerous it is

it has a few patrols, but you can see them before they reach you usually.
ill try again today, and post my findings

There is a guard free route to yggdra, just hug the west wall the moment you enter jamtland and you get to the gate safe and sound. Only worry is a wywern in on place but I have never been in its aggro range so far, and the ice scrags after you turned E when you hit the bottom but no worries there neither.

I made i right to near castle sauvage. got killed by a damn patrol right at the south middle point of sauvage.

These fucking patrol are seriously fucking crap... they totally ruin the game...

I am so sick of the lag in RVR so i thought I would go it alone and scout around albs frontier. but basically they have made it impossible to do this.....

Grr they have no idea how fecking frustrating it is to spend hours painstaking travvelling to insta die to shit patrols...

the people who test this game have no fucking common sense....

at least make the patrols slighley less that lvl 50-60 or whatever they fecking are....

Just hit lvl 38 thought I was getting tougher.....

This makes you realise than anything less than 50 just aint acceptable...
