Great game - REALLY good hard work by Ireland in the second half and especially extra time. What a shit way to go out - but we all know what going out on penalites is like :(

Well played Ireland and great work by McCarthy IMO.

Not me, if ever Ireland or Scotland ever do better than England in the tournament you never hear the last of it for the next four years.

I feel sorry for Ireland, but England have been there and done that for the last decade or so, about time we had a go of it.

Bring on Brazil (or Belgium).

Not really, I don't think England have done better for the _entire_ 35 years, probably only 90% of it :)

Ireland deserved to win that and it was a shame they didnt, but as someone said above, the English have been there and done that.
