Peace?

Just a general question really in your opinion how long should peace last if offered to you and if you offer it?

Obviously it will be personal opinions but take for example you farming a spot and notice a blue con farming xping a little way away he offers peace and you accept. You log off log back on later and he is still there would you still honour peace from earlier?

This isn't a flame post or anything but I was burned this morning with a false peace and it made me think about how long peace should last

ye, when ever u are farming in a spot with any toon and someone says peace be wary, even more when you are resting. I once was farming someone said peace i said ok then his friend came said peace ect then about 30 mins later they killed me for reward and said not my fault you was reward. <--- Thats what i hate as they were both blue rews and i coulda killed them in 3 nukes earlier

I can only say what I personally do.
I pretty much almost always offer peace in an xp/farming area (unless you see an fg of an aggresive guild, then it's pretty much pointless to even ask ) and will accept almost all offers. I then tell my guild in /gu that I have peace with x at x so there is no confusion. This peace usually lasts as long as both parties are in the same area. The situations described above usually come into being because one of the parties is a selfish player who doesn't think of others. Sure, it's a pvp server, but one can still use a little common sense.
My advice is: if I offer peace, accept it. I don't offer peace because I'm afraid to be in the same area as you - I do it for our mutual benefit. If you don't accept my peace, then we both suffer. Wouldn't it be sensible just to accept it?
If people start doing that - make a note of who it is and chain their bums off later. I say this not so that you should be vindictive, but sometimes that is the only language people know. I say: nuke there bums off, ask if they'd like peace..no? nuke there bums off, ask if they'd like peace...no nuke...etc. It's a little like giving a young child a wee tap on the behind when they try to put their fingers in an electric socket

nah i agree with fuzzy its best to have a peace or you both pull slower as well. also if you get jumped by a stealther the person you have peace with sometimes helps.

plus if they need help you are there so its mutual benfit.

Usualy people ask for peace and I accept, Because I'm stronger than they are and they're weak.. my grammer sucks... oh well back to coal mines I go.

I only accept peace from no reward ppl and it only lasts till they are reward again ( wich is many hours tho cuz i always solo and when you get the deathmsg it takes ages before they get reward again )
