Peace Treaty (good start)

Hello ALBS, you ask for some kind of peace treaty while we are attcking Midgard and yet the first time Hibernia makes an offense against Mid since you posted, what happens? .... oh surprise surprise theres a welcoming party at our mg attacking and killing most of our attempted reinforcements!!

Nice work albion, good to see your true colours once again. Don't expect too much in the way of peacekeeping amongst our nations from me or any of the other people forced to release and attempt to return to Bledmeer only to get intercepted by you Albion fools.

My guess is that those albs didn't have the slightest idea of what you guys were up to. I could imagine it being extremely annoying, but you have to face, that theres always exceptions amongst 500 players.

i am very sorry becuase it was me and a band of people who did this. but we only did this once. i have been away revising for exams alot and just went to seek some rvr. i killed about 4 people then some filborgs ganked us. then we decided to help hibbs fiight middies (still didnt know about the treaty) a elf attacked us from a big group but the group ignored us but we killed the elf. then we was showing signs of aid to the hibbies dancing,waving etc and not hitting any hibbs but then they start mezzing us and hitting us.

then we decided to gank any hibs at MG because of killing us when we offered help (still didnt know about treaty)

only after all this rvr i read the treaty thread.

ALSO our alliance (major alliance along side the SOTL, lords of england etc) did not know about this as it is not in our private forums and no one informed me when i said ill go gank hibbies over alliance chat.

Dont blame albion, just coz you made a treaty with a alliance doesnt mean its the whole of albion.

unity of albion is the other big alliance.

Any sort of treaty between the realms = a bad idea. If you had participated in beta and been involved in the first keep raid you would understand why. The post here is the first I was even aware of anything like this but I'm pretty certain it won't change the situation for me or my guild. I have great respect for the Hibs (especially after seeing you take Bledmeer last night and put up a fight) but that doesn't extend to actually working alongside you since you are still a rival realm.

All is fair in RvR and anything I can kill will be killed, Mid or Hib makes no difference.

It only takes 1 person not to comply and thats the reason why these things never work. If we help each other passively, ie by staying away from each others raids, or by staging diversions from each others activities etc would be the best thing for all.

When we are together, if we dont kill each other somene will always use the opportunity for some cheap rps, and like i said it only take 1 person.

So if is see a hib i will kill them, but i wont be actively seeking them out, ill save that for the mids.

Yes, like raiding two different keeps - that way, they either split their forces or loose a keep.

I must say, ive had my fair share of rogue albs. There was one time when a blue dwarf was killing a Brtion, think it was a minstrel who was green to me. So being the noble chap i am(yeah right!) I shoot the dwarf.
Next thing i know im under attack from an orange saracen, well he may have thought i was attacking his friend. Truth is i just saved em(well for 5 seconds till the midgards came looking for us). And that i was thinking about killing the green minstrel is beside the point.

Only way an alliance can work, is to have our task forces hit seperate targets, and to stay as far away as possible from each other as we go to get our relics.

This treaty thing is totally pointless in my opinion:

1. The realms are at war, all three against each other
2. You will never be able to inform every member of every realm about it
3. As soon as people get bored they will kill you anyway
4. You can't talk to other realms ingame, you will never be able to truly organize a real strategy
5. It misses the point of the game

Hibernia is the enemy. Midgard is the enemy. See em – kill em. All this talk of a treaty only adds to the confusion in RvR. What am I to do when I meet a hib? Look at him? Ignore him so he can shoot me in the back or something? Kill him so he will come to this board and cry? Wait and do nothing till we both get slain by a middie? I say again: pointless.
