Did this in july, pcmark wasnt run on a fresh build (hadnt reformated for about a month) and all my normal startup programs were running.

Harddrive doesn't seem to be performing too well?

I got a Western Dig ATA100/7200 8MB.

score looks about the same as mine, i might be able to squeese a few more points on a fresh install but nothing to major.

no, that score is fine, they're not comparable in that way

how are they not comparable in that way?, my understanding is the HDD scores are not related to anything other than the HDD

I think you missed the point, Ch3tan commented that his harddisc was a little low, but it isn't, in the range of harddisc scores that's quite respectable.

They aren't comparable as a score of 5000 in all three has different meanings, whereas it's medium-low for CPU and low for memory a score of 5000 for Harddisc is almost unobtainable.
