PC reboot after 'Quit'

I've encountered this prob once before, a long time ago, on one of the other pc's here... Don't know what fixed it, think it only went back to normal after I formatted the pc for a different reason.

Anyways, does anyone know what might be causing it? Whenever I'm in character selection screen and press Quit, pc reboots. I think ctr+alt+del exiting works fine.

Try a full file check, this is a little harder now than it used to be but they fix that in 1.76. You need to run the game with some switch on the end of the shortcut, like /fullcheck or something. It was in the news a few weeks back.

Are you using aGforce card and drivers 77.+

If so I get he same prob but only with this game

Disable the Automatic Reboot in System Properties -> Extended -> Sytem Recovery (Got a German Windos so forgive me if it isnt exactly labled like that.) and you will probably be able to see a bluescreen/error msg then. That should give you a lead.

Had same problem with my G-Force card - and went back to older drivers - got no more problems - although there is now a newer version of the drivers again - but can't comment now as got an ATi card

I have the same problem, using geforce 6600GT, it started just after i installed the drivers that came with BF2
