No need for them tbh. PC Zone always used to be good, might be worth a try.

Although no gaming mag will ever top Super Play.

PC Gamer is better. Better written, better laid out, and just plain good.

PC Zone is written by monkeys who don't know the first thing about page layout.

:)

Pay no attention to Moving Target, he's a wierdo. :p

They're all shit, but a certain clan leader of mine writes for PC Gamer so I'm obliged to say them. Don't get Zone, they're shit. I once subscribed for 6 months 4 years ago. I'm still getting the magazines in the post, for free. I don't even read them the state the magazine is now.

PCW - although it's thinner than it used to be.

Computer Buyer - don't bother, used to be good, now it's for total newbies, ie - this is the power switch etc.

Used to read Zone a good few years back but went to Gamer for an unknown reason, soon got bored though.

Occaisonally read PCFormat, some one else buys it but that is always the best way to read mags :D

Thinkin about it... you save so much by subscribing you could subscribe to 2 and spend less than buying them in the shop :)

Only reason I aint subscribed is cos I keep moving, and getting addresses changed is a bind already :(

I say PCG, not just cos Swiss writes for them, but because overall it's a better mag than Zone.

I currently sub to Edge, but I'm seriously thinking of cancelling it after nine years, because the current staffers there haven't a fucking clue about PC Games.

They gave JK2 4/10 ffs.

It was annoying in places, primarily due to the jumping puzzles which always annoy in what's meant to be an FPS game. But the storyline and plot were solid (eat that Rush Limbaugh), the voice acting was pretty damn good, and the difficulty curve was nicely judged.

7.5/10 (with marks off for jumping puzzles and not enough variety in enemies).

If I were to mark it as a percentage it'd get about 88%
