Pc - gta 4

right, finally got this for the PC, noticed they kept the god awefull shit camera system for the cars as in San andreas. is there a way i can change how fast the camera follows the car when i turn? right now if i make a few fast turns i end up facing the front with the camera and it takes FOREVER for the stupid thing to adjust unless i use the mouse.

and do i need a "girlfriend" in this game or can i ignore the bitches like in San Andreas?

dunno about the camera, Ctuchik, but it is kind of a laugh to have a gf in the game. though it is also a bit of a pain in the arse. (not too far from rl there eh 0o) also there is extra stuff you can go do when you have one. primarily spend a fortune on clothes

because i dont have a PS3/360, and i'm not buying any of them for just 1 fucking game.

It plays the same as a console version (you can even use a console pad) and has better graphics on the PC

My only problem with it is the amount of hoops you have to jump through to play it, the DRM is a nightmare, even on steam.

also, iirc, you may *need* to associate with a certain woman at a certain time. though that is the way I played the game. maybe it doesn't force you to, I don't know.

well i'm not very far in yet. still trying to take down that so called rat on the train station for that Faustus(sp?) character. but i keep ending up as a hood ornament on a train when i follow him <.<

lol seriously, try playing this game with a new gen gfx card on high gfx then compare it to the ps3/xbox, makes them look like ps1 gfx in comparision.

Compared to the 360 atleast PC doesn't have to use 4 layers of blur to make their shit texture quality not stand out as much, that said - it really is the worst PC port I've ever played, jesus fucking christ you can't even change the default controls(it shows an 360 pad in control settings).

slightly over where u klick to show the 360 controller u have the line to klick to show the keyboard.

its there, just not where its supposed to be for pc players

just about ready to give up on this crap now... spent about 5 hours yesterday collecting cars for brucie and he still aint liking me enough to give me the phone options so i can start working towards his helicopter...
