Look for an option along the lines off...

Pc Health Status,

failing that or something similar look through all the options ur after:

CPU Temperature: xxC
System Temperature: xxC

give that a try

On that note i do doubt that its overheating by a long shot as Durons chuck so little heat out.. but hey worth a try

You shud only be worried about your CPU temp if it goes over 55 C. Other than that i cant really see the problem. Like Deadman said, durons dont chuck out much heat. If you want more advice or help give me more info on your PC specs and i'll be happy to help.

Tried defragmenting? I've got 256mb SDR ram, gf2 GTS, 850mHz Athlon and it's not a total freeze-up in emain, not with just 1fg.
Right-click your c: drive, go to properties, tools tab, defragment... repeat for all fixed drives in your system =]
