PBAoE group set up

Hey guys, whats the best setup for a PBAoE group? At the moment we have 4SMs and 2PacHealers (And a 50bb), planning to level up from /level 20.

Is 2 stunners and 4PBAoErs enough, or is a tank really necessary?

A skald unless you intend to crawl wherever you xp, and give speed to the pet.

make sure one of the healers get speed1 farily fast, and get a pbt-RM. really helps alot.

I would suggest using a warrior, a guard/intercept/slam bot is always useful.

pet can intercept
pac healer spams ae stun
so warrior still can guard - yes but in 4 sms grp it's almost useless as u dont know who is going to get aggro at the next moment. and warrior still can taunt 1-2 mb even 3 mobs.

pbt runnie is much more useful.
supp bd is useful too.

additionally, a warrior must be good equiped, that costs money and time, casters and seers dont realy need proper equipment but focus staves for sms.

I would go 1 Pac healer, 6 SMs, Supp RM and the bb.

One makes a Ground Target(GT) and the rest /groundassist <name>. Press F5 2 times to make the GT visible.
RM has the Speed "chant" on and cast BT.
One SM pulls.
bb cast regen health on the Healer (depending on the spec. 47Aug, 26Mend is a good bb spec IMO).

The puller run past the GT and make sure his pet is behind the GT so the mobs and not the SM or pet is on the GT.
The healer stands right behind the GT to make sure the mobs is in front of him when he stuns and to make sure the mobs in the box don’t split up WHEN he get agro.
When the stun is done the puller run forward to help nuking.

Hint: Puller take 2 steps to the side to avoid "pushing" your pet back into the box when going into the box yourself.

The healer might die a few times, but you really don't care when you see that you get the XP back in one pull.

The key to this is to find the right mobs.
Lots of guides and helpfull sights to find the mobs you need.

can't remember all spot's but
35-40+ - Hugbui's in Vanern Swamp (near King/Queen hut)

Mids PBAE have good bonus to undead.

Soultorn's in DF, Ghostly invaders, Wrath, Hugbui's and etc.

For 4-5-6 PBAErs very important good spawn ratio. So Varulv not bad (Lord's room and Hall a bit down).

But yes - would be better if u chek some guides.

P.S. soz, totaly dunno about SI zone's.
P.S.S. Use pet pull and Box-form. (Even stunner must be in box also).
P.S.S.S. - BB also=off-group save rezzer.

Yes you did.
The GT is ONLY to have a box that ALL knows where is at ALL time. This way you wont have the box moving around all the time.
Some places its deadly if the box moves just a bit. In Vendo cave deep down at the craps its hard to find a good spot and when you do its important that all stay at that spot.

The healer must stand right behind the box. That makes it easyer to stun and the mobs wont move if he gets agro. He should /face the mobs when he stun. If he lags he might not stun the mobs if he don't /face.

I did the PBAE a little different than the PBAE Guide.

hum, we make bigger char (troll or norse) as box-point and all stay inside them.

Maked SM and Shaman in PBAE-PWL group's.

So - all in box=all in box, even healer.
