Anyone been playing this, if so what's your verdict on it so far?

Tried it yesterday, so far ok. Diablo clone to the core, skill system is massive, more D2 then D3 overall, more gritty then fantasy, free to play(big plus) with only cosmetics in store.

Will have to play mroe, but worth the 0 cost /hour of gameplay

Trying out a fire witch in open beta, great game and the skill tree is just incredible. You don't pick a class as any archtype can be made to do any of the normal roles. Just a matter of spec'ing it. Best to pick the skills you want and then pick and archtype based on routes to the skills through the tree. Along with the currency system it can be a little overwhelming to start.

Really good game though, what D3 should have been. Needs lots more content to be great.

Never tried a fire based char. Back in closed beta ice and lightning were the favorable elements. Currently trying a necro and a few elemental cleave chars to see how "op" they are. Put my elemental ranger on hold due to the new reflect mobs.
Currently occasionally farming cruel act 3 to get items and currency to progress into merciless.

Fire witch is fun - multi-fireball with fork works nicely. Also have Zombies and Spectors for a meat shield. -25% fire dmg curse and opening up with an ICE AoE with Elemental Equilibrium is so OP. Only problem I have is with end of act bosses, find it very hard to solo them and usually end up in group just to to clear the act. Plus you get more loot that way anyways. Basically I need better gear then I should be fine.

Also leveling up an Elemental M&S Paladin, heavy damage and kind god mode, not had an issue at all through act 1 and 2 including bosses. Hardly ever even use a potion.
