Patcher Problem & GeForce 2 crashes

Anyone just started to download a new file through the patcher called 'b_th_dirk01.nif' that's corrupted their patch.bin file (with a 308 error message)? I can't log on to the game now... and no, I don't want to reinstall from cratch.

Also my machine (256 meg, amd k7 650 processor, geforce 2 gfxcard running WinXP) keeps rebooting while playing DaoC due to nv4disp.dll errors - I've updated to the latest nvidia drivers and it still happens - any solutions that don't involve getting a new vid card or uninstalling XP?

completley uninstall the drivers, then search for nv4disp.dll to make sure its gone then reinstall them (drivers)
