Patch files

I noticed in the main directory there's patchXX.tre, amounting to around 80meg. Presumably these are the patches so, the question is, does anyone know if I could burn these to cd and my gf could then copy them over to her pc? It'll take her ages to patch with her modem otherwise.

I doubt if you can take just those files - I expect they're compressed patch files that get uncompressed onto your system, but you could do a search for files modified since you installed the game and pick those up to burn. That's what I've done with DAOC & EQ in the past. There shouldn't be more than a CD full.

i dont know if this will work for SWG but it did for planetside (same lancher and company)
burn swg to dvd
install the game on the other comp
then copy the burned swg over the top

hope this help

I cant see why it would not.
Thats how I patched my DAOC+SI Euro to DAOC+SI USA.
