Patch Error

Every time i run Daoc, a patch error occurs, yet when i say close to the illegal error it does not close, and does not effect me from playing Daoc, howevery when i exit the game i have to rebot to log back in, and again the same error occurs, now i have tried re-installing the game and the problem still occurs, this problem start happing after the recent update of 1.48, up untill then the game worked fine, anyone go any soloutions, ur should i re-install windows?

KERNEL32.DLL - this is the file which is causeing the illegal error, and i dont know what to do or fix it.

edit: Let me phrase myself clearly.

I get this error also, since the latest patch (1.48).

When I log in, at the patcher stage it gives me the following error window:

PATCH caused an invalid page fault in
module KERNEL32.DLL at 0177:bff766c0.

This error window persists no matter how many times I click 'Close'. However, the patcher still goes through and allows me to login and play. The error window remains on top of everything so I just move it to the side.

Now, if I go linkdead and have to relog in, at the patching stage my computer just freezes, probably a clash with the already existing error window from my first entry into DAoC.

So basically I have to restart my machine if I go linkdead, which isn't very nice on a DAoC minimum spec machine.
