Patch donload problem

Gone 2am and still unable to download update, it starts to d/l but at less than 1kb a sec before tailing off and stopping altogether. no problems d/l from other sites etc and speed tests show up fine. have checked the server addresses in the update.dat are ok.

PS Are there any other NTL customers having the same problem? (Located NE England)

Either NTL routing or server fucked at other end...

I have had very BAD lag and LD's in last 36 hrs here on NTL too.
I phoned NTL but there is nothing wrong their end. I ran a trace to the game server and was getting 40-60% packet loss at the French end
So wtf are we supposed to do ?

PS Can anyone who is on a 600k cable modem NTL customer and has been sucessful in d/l patch let me know what area of the uk they r in , ive got a list of the NTL proxys so im going to try another area proxy address. Not sure if it will help but its worth a try.

Don't know if this is any use to you now...but i have 600k NTL broadband...in Norwich..i have had no problems with lag..ld's or downloading at all...( touch wood ). Makes a damn fine change from 56k AOL !! (o:

it is NTLs prob, i emailed both their tech address and opentransit admin are emailing them
