if they got the email list of the customers.. i wonder what else they got

Not had the email at any of my accounts 3 email addresses so hopefully the customer database is safe, I would be mightly pissed off if I started getting spam at my 3 private addresses.

Yes cause my antivirus and firewall will surely protect me from handing over my CC details and my account password...

tbh, I find that brains and common sense helps there more than a firewall, like Belorfyns has

But yes, Firewalls and an up-to-date AV software program (a DECENT one, not McAfee or Norton fyi) will always help as well for other things.

Well, I got that mail on two addresses, the ones listed on my webpage.
I did not get any email to address registered with my DAoC account.

Worth noting before someone starts to "have some fun" that the box running that http server is probably hacked and the actual owner is innocent to any of this.
And it's crime to break into it anyway whether it's running new or old software and whether it belongs to someone innocent or the guy who did the scam.

yup it is illegal, but so is the gimp who did this, & chances are if someone does try do the above & "have some fun", they are hackers who 9/10 hackers don't give 2 sh!ts if its legal or not & i bet 9/10 hackers would rather have ago even more so if it IS illegal
