If you're travelling from Great Britain to Europe, how long does your passport have to be valid for?

Answers on a postcard, or failing that reply here please

as valid as it should ever be. tbh you'd best be getting a new one least two or three months before it expires. if you're over the half year mark just give the relevant embassy a ring and they'll tell you.

Heh I just rang Eurotunnel, because its Europe it can be one day in date, thats fine.

Depends how closely they check it.
If its properly checked, it should be valid until your date of return I think, its for countries further away that they often ask for it to be valid for a month or two after.
