Why the hat? More importantly, why the flowers?

Standard hat to wear when passing the studenexam, I guess, looks just like the one we use here in Denmark, if anything like ours, the colour of the rim indicates which kind of college you just passed.

Also, flowers are often the gifts to get right when you are done with your last exam.

EDIT: Oh, yeah, and Congratulations on the student-exam :D

Now all you have to look forward to is drugs, art college, and a string of meaningless sexual encounters, each more depraved than the last one.

And beer...

Yea well it's definitely a day to be remembered here in Sweden :)

First you go school and have some lunch and just a 'last day in school'-day. Then you rush out on a scene (you feel like a rockstar at this point) outside school where a crowd of friends and family are waiting to congratulate you and give flowers and stuff. Then you mount that truck that takes you on a trip through the whole city, lots of shouting and singing. After that you go home where, once again, more friends and family are waiting to congratulate, eat, drink, talk and have a good time. And finally in the evening, you go out for a last night with the school/class.

And I'm sure someone has pointed out I look like a frostalf before, scary

thats a bit extravagent.
where i live you had to make your way to school without getting stabbed.
avoid the bullies while you were there, get your grades and sprint home before someone kidnapped you.

Kivik, did the photographer intentionally catch the banners in the background on the second pic to make it look like a gay parade? :D I know there's a HBT festival in town right now, but.. heh found it funny.

Was me that took the pic (I think it's my hand in the upper right corner) and no, I had no clue there was something about it and I didn't pay attention to it. Spoiled my pic

And thanks everyone! :)
