The parents of a 13 year old boy who died after jumping from a building are suing Blizzard, creators of World of Warcraft, claming the MMO game was to blame for their son's death.

The Chinese news agency Xinhua, report the action is being backed by Zhang Chunliang, a well known activist who is campaigning to highlight the dangers of internet addiction.

There are currently more than 1.5 million World of Warcraft players in China, making up 1/3 of the game's player base.

Eh? Why jump off a building? Do they do that in Wow for some reason then?

After his recent case was thrown out of court, he won't be ready to step on his soap box for a little while. Plus the fact that his license (or whatever a lawyer has) is up for review because of it, heres hoping he loses it and will never be able to practice law again.

Commen sense should be taught in schools.

Its like the other day I tried to jump off the space station with a box, aiming for a passing covenant ship (space shuttle) and I was the suprised the box didn't blow up the shuttle as I flew through space heading for the amber clad.

EDIT:
sorry if that sounds a bit horrible
