Paper doll dosnt refresh!?

The little Mini Picture of Myself no longer refreshs when i change the clothes and wepaons im holding. does thsi happen to anyone else? is it a know bug? should i report it? should i not bother ? should i shut up?

Mine turned around for a while and other strange things like you've described have happened, too. Can't be of anymore help than to say it eventually just stopped, sorry

Same for me i thought at first it was because I updated my GFX Drivers

Happened to me a long time ago when I first installed the game and played , sorted itself when I updated to the latest Nvidia drivers though

curious im using direct x 9
erm Geforce 3 with 40.91?? detanator drivers
windows 2000

oddd verrrrrrrrrrrrry odd may reinstall a few things to see if it fixes
its not a major probelm but its a pain in the arse

Mines the same.. only seems to refresh when I relog/zone... not that it matters much to me, I don't change my cloths much... (other than my pants after encountering one of those SB Zergs that keep poping up about the place)

It happened to me the other day when after i installed the latest detenator drivers for my geforce 4 ( 41.09 ). so i uninstalled them and went back to 30.82 and game seems smoother than the newer drivers ??? explain that ?!?!! oh and the paper doll didnt change when i removed armour as well with the newer drivers. So im staying with the 30.82 ones. If it aint broke dont fix it, i suppose the old cliche goes...

odd i didnt change anything i tryed to reistall direcX8.1 back over 9 and thast it and mine seems to be working again
(altho i knwo u cant backdate DX's without a format??!)

it happened to me !!!

mine hopped onto the screen charged to amg "pwned" 8fg of mids camping, went home shagged my wife, fed the dog, cleaned my car then ran back with a chinese takeaway 20 cigs and a 4 pack of stafford special brew.....


hehe seriously ive had problems with him turning around :S
i think its when u die while stuck, as your character turns on the floor he turns in the window and if u release without auto centering i think he stays turned round. But mines refreshing ok must be an isolated problem

to add to this, that bug also stops you choosing a guild emblem When you try to do it you just get a picture of your character where normally you'd see the cloak with colour/emblem select buttons. Tried this a few times then went onto gfs pc (who doesnt have the bug) and could do it fine.

I remember one time.. suiciding with my group on HPK in Odin's.. group members dropped dead beside me, the guards came charging out and somehow I got into the actual portal keep... well between the two doors... before I died. Anyway, I released and the picture of myself was turned around... think it righted itself when I next died/relogged.

Ok, simple solutions for simple problems:

1. Paperdoll doesn't upgrade: Use the latest CERTIFIED detonator driver! You have to check the driver archive at NVIDIA. For my OS the latest certified driver is v30.82.

2. Camera view screwed after you released: hold the "^"-key (the one left of your "1" key) and press "D".
