Guys this is my first EVER attempt at a template (its for a pally if you couldent tell!) and really did alot of guess work.....any help would be very nice and i am expecting ALOT of critcism about it!

Atens shield is crap, and the weapon it summons is even more crap, being 15 dps and crap stats. Would recommend the ML7 dungeon shield, magma infused defender and to go with that, the battler of the malice's axe.

Ring of the brute isn't that good either.

Check item stats for the love of the bunnies.

Check here for a list of paladin templates. Go through them for ideas!

You want to work towards:

Resists - try to get 26% for all. If you need to make a choice, Matter can stay low.
Stats- You want a minimum of 75 Str, Con, Dex and Qui and if you have items with +Caps, raise them higher.
Hits - At least 200
Skills - The maximum +Skill you can have is 11. You want 11 Slash and Shield. If it's higher, then some of your jewelry is being wasted as that stat is not in use. Find another item.
Bonuses - you can only have a maximum of 10% Melee speed/style/damage.

To make a good ToA template, you need to search through item lists and other templates. Take out items which are easy to acquire and try to make a template with those. Sometimes even changing one item of jewelry is the difference between a good and a worthless template! So look around before you make one

+Don't use a summoned item as your main weapon

All items except the jewel are quest items and the armour is 99% crafted.
