Ive done a little reasearching but have not come with anything that mentions crush on a pally. I realise its based on full strength but is it that crap on a pally, would I be better off with slash s/s ?

Waaaaaaay back in the days my pally was chrush.. i didnt like it, dunno if it was becouse i was new to the game tho ...
Ive been slash for a good while, gets quiet boring but with the right ML its pretty fun .. If id ever respec id go for 2hand i think... Slash is probably the best allaround spec for a pally as you will need high shield or you will gimp yourself, so the chrush stun isnt really needed i guess...
But at the end of the day, its still up to YOU how you want to play
Thing with crush is that you get a lot of buttons, and most pally players alreayd have rsi twisting, so better go slash, with just amethyst & backslash to worry about. Lastest spec for me is 42 shield 39 slash 39 parry 36 chants, and I can honestly say it plays better than all the specs ive tried before.
Been crush since I rolled a pala and loved it since.
Current spec is 50 shield / 48 chants / 29 crush (= afterblock style which goes off lots with 50 shield) rest in parry.
Been 42 shield / 48 chants / 29 crush / 30 parry for a long time too, but parried too often imo w/o having a style for that like after a block.
And while amy uses quite much endurance, crush styles use a lot less. And I know pala has endchant! But chanting dmgadd/shield/endchant/healchant every 8 seconds uses end as well. I got enough end left while chanting my a$$ off while crushing, I haven't got spare end to play like that with slash (tested on a friend's account, didn't like it..).
Hope it helped . And while you can respec malice to slash/crush, whichever you like, in a later patch, you can buy respec stones too in a few months (or 4-6..), from NPC's, at a cost.
