As a pala personally i would like to have the cere bracer either dex or con, but atleast not str..
Also i'd like to have more shield skill, as i fnd it's very needed in RvR.. if you guard and BG the same person.. first hit you may intercept, then the person stands still.. but BG takes a couple secs to work, guard might block just enough to save him, imo
I like the GoV procs pretty much myself.. even though it doesn't proc to often, and as a shield the ML7 heal proc one makes wonders, with high shield skill and dex, you block all the time and it procs quite alot
SoM instead of FW also, as SoM have saved my life sooo endlessly many times and is always fun to watch how much dmg it really absorbs.. it's deffo worth it, resists are not as important as i see it.. 5% of a nuke on.. lets say 800 dmg is actually only 40 hps.. that's like Toughness 1, while SoM shade form takes away so much dmg you won't believe it before you see it

True it helps vs archers, but never had anything but 100% blockrate vs those regardless of MoB level. Using small shield to slam fast. The slash skill isn't there for the dmg really, it's there because shield weaponskill = melee spec + dex.

I use 1 crafted and this with heal proc.. twisting them around isn't to hard
It's a large shield.. so i won't bother using it on slamming anyways.. but if you in small grps or fighting caster grps where you dont slam every second second this shield is the best

i have seen som in action like i said i can still get the charge prolly 1 year till they fix that bug or sthin, will have new template by then for sure. but anyways i'm making template for group rvr and i the som charge won't really make that much of a difference in any case. and why take a cloak with crap uv when you can still get the same charge, when you can take one with a lot more? :]
