if u r grping a lot then imo u should drop matter to get higher body/cold etc :eek:

Hmm yes if you think like that then +11 to skill doesn't matter much it's only a couple % more damage .. and capping your con is not important it's only a couple hitpoints ... and using MP armor doesn't matter it's only a couple more imbue points and a miniscule AF bonus ... and using capping buffs shouldn't be necesary as it's only a couple of points.

Yet if you meet a char that has followed that theory with a char that is fully capped you rip it to pieces because it's exactly those last couple of % that make the difference

This is my template, its much easier to complete than many of the other templates ive seen that are rather uber, but this is very good both solo and group rvr.

Hope it gives any help.

It is also easily modifiable to put in items with higher utility, for example SoM cloak which maybe isnt the best for group rvr only.

can anyone offer a good 2h template at all for a pally :eek6: decided to go mad and respec to 2h for a bit of a change, include all the usual doodahs gov scalers (malice 2h?)etc would appreciate any help :clap:

Did i say i wasn't capping all the other sht? I'm only saying, 5% resists is sht as not all casters can be done with the same one. And saving 20 hps IF you meet that 1 or 2 casters doesn't really matter, it wont save you. MP matters imo, coz you get alot of more pts to spec, and you get some AF, capping buffs helps, as you dont loose anything by using them. I don't know how much 2 more pts in a skill would matter, but i really doubt it's alot, and i don't think i need it. Imo capping con is very important, as i want to have alot of hps so i don't die, that way i can try on purpose to get targetted by enemy dmg dealers. Also imo 20 hps > 5% resist, hps work for ALL casters and ALL melee, not just 1 or 2, which makes me live longer no matter what enemy i meet.

Oh and Ilum you want Malice in there tbh :) Or atleast Battler if not Malice.

and 5% resists works *every* time, 20hp works once. (to take an example, say drop 5% cold for 20hp then get nuked by a darkness sm. Nuke for 500 -> 5% resists would have saved you 25hp. Then his 2nd nuke -> anothr 25hp. Then a 3rd and a 4th and a 5th (assuming heals) a 6th and 7th ?. thats nearly 200hp ;o )

yep sure i wouldnt mind having them for the procs, it still beats your template by a mile tho
