Went paintballing near Guildford at the weekend and I'm suffering now. Tops of my legs are killing me, can't get up and down the stairs and I had to get someone from work to come and pick me up today. Got shot loads, bruises all over and I'm in complete agony. Was bloody great though, scored 40 of our teams 80 points had 12 in our team) and we came top overall. Highly recommend it though if you get the chance.

Quake, cs and military experience is very much a deciding factor though :)

I went paintballing quite a few years back, before I started FPS gaming, and it was great fun.

I remember sneaking around and seeing this girl, who thought she was hidden behind a tree but for her enormous bum sticking out one side, which prompty got liberally plastered in pink paint :) And once I got stunned when I poked my head above the parapet and got a paintball right between my eyes (ouchie) !

Another occasion I jumped some enemy and got him just under his ear, uncovered by his mask, at very close range. Later in the day I saw him showing off a huge bruise on his neck, fortunately he never knew who it was because we all wore masks :D

I think my company organises events, must try it again ...

I went with my old work, Mistral, and I was determined to shoot my ex-helpdesk manager a few times but when we got there it was us against someone unknown team of kids and university students. I Was a bit dissapointed that I wouldnt get the chance. however a couple of games in and they had dropped a player so he defected to the other team.

During one of the matches I was creeping around the perimiter to see if I could get the match objective and there was a tree that had been felled exposing the roots and a huge clump of mud. As I approached there was a standoff between 2 players and I couldn't make out who was firing at who so I made my way to the tree where the shooting was coming from. As I approached I saw that it was a teammate being shot at from whoever was behind this clump. So I walked up the trunk, peered over the top and lo and behold was my ex-manager. He was quite vocal about shooting this other guy yelling 'YOU'RE HIT! YOU'RE HIT GET OUT!' so I took aim and fired a paintball right between his shoulder blades from about 2 ft away and as he looked up I quietly said, 'No, you're out'.

Git him again during the VIP stage in which I assasinated teh VIP and rescued ours. To say i was leet was a mild understatement :)

Ha ha, that thing about getting hit, it's "take your shots" all over again with adults !

I did a "Colonel H Jones" and suicide charged a nest containing two enemies, when the viscious exchange of paintballs ended I was standing over them, they were covered from head to toe in my paint and I did not have a drop on me !

I went paintballing last week and it did indeed rawk. We all had aching thighs the next morning.

Best part was my mad dash across an open field while carrying the enemy flag back to base. I was panting so hard into my mask I couldn't see a thing. I made it though, and I was crowned king. Maybe.

A fun time was had by all.

Dangerous stuff paintballing !

Last time I went I fell over a tree and dislocated my knee ! - took me over two hours of banging my leg against the tree stump to get it back in its socket!

paintballing is great fun, i went a couple of years ago, and captured the flag for our team, which was nice

and our uni society is organising a trip soon, which should also rawk :)

Went Paintballin in Wales when i was in Secondary School about 3 years ago, fuckin amazing time i had!

First of all, it seemed i was always on the losers end of everythin :/

first:

Some fucker usin Guerilla Tactics blasted me from the Trees (about 2 of em) hit me right on the side and the fuckin paintball didnt break, thus it left one fucker of a sting.

second:

There was a muddy hill, i slipped, went forward hit a tree with a bang ouch.

third:

Got whacked right on the firehead, there was NO protection to my skin (The hit was just about the helmet and just under the hood) left me with a big fuck off egghead.

fourth:

Was gettin chased, jumped in what "seemed" to be a little bit of mud, was infact a huge fuckin hole of mud, leg got stuck and i lost my bastard trainer :/



As you can see i have the time of my life *cough* :rolleyes:

I went with meh mates (I was teh organis0r!) ; Campaign it was.. anyway.. first round one of my mates says to the other 'Cover me!' and the guy goes to cover and gets hit straight away... right in the mask.
Theres was another time were in a hut and some enemy was creeping around outside and someone said 'THERES ONE OUTSIDE!!!' and about 20 people just started shooting at this one kid. Funneh!

I wanner go again but GCSE time.. after mebbe :D

We went with the rugby club last year - I went for a piss in a bush on the way down to the 'play area' and one of the lads shot me in the bare arse at point blank - complete bastage.

Couldn't sit down for a week :(
