I assume most of you have been paintballing at some point in your lives, and as I was hoping to plan a paintballing day out for me and a few mates I was wondering which are the best sites to go to, perfect conditions would either be some kind of castle or heavily wooded area in other words plenty of close quarter combat. Anywhere will do but Lincolnshire and the surround areas would be best for us.

Hmm, i went Paintballing when i was at School (About 2/3 Years ago), down in North Wales, i think the place was called SWAT.

It was great Fun, CTF, Assasination, etc, all apart from the Fact that it went wrong for me :/...

1) NONE of the Paintballs exploded on impact, so i was left battered, bruised and Stung.
2) People Hid in the High trees, so i got ambushed
3) I fell down a huge hill which was Muddy
4) I got shot inbetween my Mask and hud, so the Paintball hit Skin, that left a nasty cut
5) I lost my Shoe/Sock when walking thru Mud (Ya know.. i think this isnt deep so went right in :eek:.

I'd love to do it again now tho, but dont wanna go Wales again heh

It was a very scary yet exciting experience

Last time I went paintballing, my mate Carl, was amazingly hungover. Half way through he had to keep nipping off to puke in the undeergrowth...

"cover me!!!,,, I'm gonna puke!!111" so I would crouch near him and help him out.

2:37 pm. "cover me I'm gonna shit!!!111"





















me:"You're on your own"




















He got shot in the ass........and then he puked again.:D

buy your paintballs before hand, get about 1/3rd of them and freeze them

they sting like buggery.

as to the mud thing ^_^ gr8 for cheating :p

Also the key to winning at paintballing is camping, get out the tent, the fire, the marshmallows and the winnabago :)

Ive been quite a few times. Its great fun!

The last time I went, however, I got a shite gun!

It had a hair trigger so it kept on shooting when I didnt want it to!

It also had the added feature of shredding the paintballs ending up in a spraying effect which covered me in paint! :/

Other than it was great!

I meant in general, everyone is mentioning their paintballing experiences but not where they were (apart from Ch3tan and super gray) which is the point of my thread. It wasn't a request for Ch3tan it was for everyone but him and super gray.

There are 2 very good sites near me Ignus. One is at Elsham, which is right next to junction 5 of the M180 / A18 junction. The other is in our village (Messingham). Both are wooded areas, and the Elsham one regularly hosts National matches.

I played paintballing in South Africa so any exact info isnt really going to help you...

Ive been paintballing a few times, at different places.

However, it was in Scotland, so not much help there.

Worst time was in the Winter. Bloody cold so the pellets were hard and hurt - ALOT.

Best advice is to have a laugh. Usually you get the folk who go over the top :

1. Have their own camo gear / weapons
2. Think they are some kind of squad leader.
3. Arm themselves to the teeth with grenades and FB's
4. Run about like looneys shooting everywhere - the only thing in danger are the trees.

Worst time I had is when I wore the full face mask - had trouble breating so took the face bit off (left the goggles on). 2 secs later, I caught a pellet on the top lip (didnt burst) and hirt like hell.

Also depends on what type of gun you get. Once played with an Automatic Rifle - great fun, but you seem to go through A LOT of ammo with that one.

But remember kiddies : FF is ALWAYS on

There's an awesome place in the Midlands that uses a stately home and its grounds for paintballing. Whereas most places are just "woods", nothing is offlimits at this one - you can fight in all the rooms of the main building, the grounds, the outbuildings, there's even a set of subterraenean tunnels linking the main house to several of the other buildings. Now *that* is fucking cool. Two drawbacks being 1) as far as I can remember its pretty expensive and 2) you'd need quite a lot of people to do it. For anyone who fancies the ultimate CS reconstructions though (Estate, anyone?) it can't be touched.

Ill see if I can dig up the url.

Bit boring I know but now we know, it gives endless wind up opportunities for people to post MP3's of calls to the line. :)

If you are arranging a paintball day make sure you go somewhere reliable and that have the equipment and staff that make the day enjoyable, there are far too many cowboys out there. One of the best in the country is NPF at Bassets Pole in birmingham, I used to Marshall and play there alot... Its a good site, good gear and pay extra if you can and get one of the site Angels :) trust me you'll love it.....
