+Pac skill

I am fairly new level 50 healer owner. Actually dinged 50 yesterday.
I am making my gear atm and happened to read some topics in VN board.

What got my attension what this quote: "+ to pac does nothing for you. Odd I know but true. "
I would like to hear your comments about this before if make a big mistake in my SC.

ok, youre lvl in a offensive spell determines the chance it is resisted up to lvl 50
Post-lvl 50 it has no effect

So for example if you have 47 pac, it is good to have 3 pac more in youre template to cap it at 50 to reduce resist rates.

sadly that only works for dd spell's.
It doesnt work with mezz spell's and stun spell's.
Resist rate is only calculated with lvl from the target and the lvl of the spell.
The only thing that can help to reduce resists (mezz and stun) is the FOCUS realm ability. That ability bump's up the lvl of you're spell so you get less resists.

Didn't they remove all drops etc. with + to pac? because they didn't do anything..

It doesn't work for any spells, other than Minstrel charming which benefits from +music.
I think you're confused with damage/duration of a spell.
