the title of the thread (and article) is a bit confusing - it was actually the greatest character of all time, not the greatest game. Hence people saying things like "mario kart" or "space invaders" are a bit nonsensical.

Of course, the greatest character of all time is William J. "B.J." Blazkowicz, because without him things would look very different.
