Woo this is fun, shallow and fairly simple but a blast.

Not far in yet but enjoying the humour and mindless smashing.

oi, I was just talking to my PES padawan about this. It looks pretty decent :) I'll hopefully be getting either this or The Darkness next time I've got time with my xbox.

Enjoying the game but I am stuck on Melvin the Fat Halfling, the fat bastard keeps jumping up and landing to squash all my minions in one go.

He had me first time around then i started controling my minions better and moving them away when he jumps up needless to say once you have that tactic sorted he goes down extremely quickly.

This game is all about the minions and every boss fight will involve getting the minions to kill the boss and using tactics/bit of thought to killing them.

I think the game is very fun and sad at the same time i felt very guilty at making over 100 minions jump in the smelter to make my armour/weapons :(

I just got my Mistress a while ago and have decorated my tower :)

The Darkness is completely different but better. I can only jusify 1 game this month so it'll be the darkness. Overlord does look fun though.

It's really hard to judge which one is best imo. Overlord relies more on the story and humor, while The Darkness is about solid gameplay mechanics :) That's atleast how I see it.

Been playing this for a while now and really enjoying it still. People playing on PC are whining i gather about controls and i could imagine why but its a breeze on the 360 and is getting really complex as i get further into game placing minions properly.

Also my mistress gave me sex0r o_O

Does anyone on a Good Broadband connection want to try for the 30 minute survival for a laugh (Talking 360 owners ofc).

Reason i emphasize it so is i've played about 5 games online and all but 1 was super laggy.

Completed this now, damn addictive.

Insane how much more powerful you are in a fully imbued arcanium set from normal (3500 minions sacrificed :S). Multiplayer is a bit laggy but is a blast despite only 2 people, quite enjoying the strategy behind pillage mode.

Not quite non stop but more than i should :)

How you guys placing on Pc finding it? I heard the controls are a major issue and unless your using a dual analog game pad i imagine serious problems, especially later in the game where you need to micromanage in combat.
