Anyone know how to take away the association of msn with outlook. I got an old 4.x version of msn that always loads when outlook does even though i installed a newer 6.x version ... so im getting 2 versions loaded into memory which is a right pain taking up resources.

didnt work but found this that did

To get rid of (uninstall) WinXP MSN Messenger permanently, click the Start button -> click Run... -> paste this single line in the command box:

RUNDLL32 ADVPACK.DLL,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\MSMSGS.INF,BLC.Remove

and finally click OK or hit Enter."

You could just go into the options for Outlook and untick the box for messaging support.
