Out running a CC

I was running around emain today and i got a CC and a coiuple of guards on me...

Im a lvl 35 minstrel which means i have the second to last run buff... 89% increase...

With sprint i out ran them for quite some time... i was actuall putting distance between me and them... i died after my endurance ran out... It was my understanding that CCs were a lot faster then this...

I am also under the thinking that the final speed buff is faster then run speed 4 + sprint??

Were these CCs just slow?? or was i lucky?? Does this mean when i get the final run buff i can out run themn without sprinting??

Dunno what caused them to be so slow and not even yelling out about attack and defence and all..

Well I outran the realm guards at one of the relic keeps in Midgard last afternoon so its quite possible

Its pretty easy to outrun realm guards with final song, only time I get caught by guards is when an ranger shoots me and stops song, or theyre right infront of me when I start to run.

Will be even easier when the speed in combat realm ability comes.

good stuff, glad to hear it, i also found that when i am out side the hibby Border keep, the guards have grap stealth detect, im lvl 35 with lvl 13 stealth (inc items) and they run straight over me...

strange...

LOL Woody, get I kind of bit me in the ass there.. didnt think they'd come running because I lulled U.. (dont think I was close enough to pull them physically) but they did..

We sure did, poor sucker decided to stun the lvl 50 mage instead of the little (kind of big actually) yellow con bard... v bad decision

Hehe yup, but while he hopefully enjoyed ur mezz, he had the pleasure to stand and watch me getting my power back after ress. And afterwards he learned that it only takes a 9 sek stun and 4 Auora blast's to kill him

Not really good for this topic....but lemme ask...and be honest plz...isnt that stun spell a bit owerpowering?

I mean how can u actually do anything against it if u have no stealth?

But i can follow u in ur point that it's maybe a little overpowerd.
In those 9 sek the only thing u can do is stand, and wait for the mage to kill u, because the stun cant be broken, and with equal lvl's 9 sek is enough to kill an opponent.

But Krane ur a lucky man being an alb, so in most cases u will have about 100 friends killing me, before those 9 sek has run out (Jokeing)

I seriously hope u joking bout numbers mate...in the last few days there was a sh*tload of u little zerglings in emain...like 2 or 3 times more than any other realms army...and u still got wiped a few times..

Hibs major prob is that most of em goes to bed so damn early

With the final speed buff you run almost exactly the same speed as the CC's.. The problem lies int he fact they run in stright lines, so if you turn a lot when you run away they'll catch you.
