In 25-29 battlegrounds, the first day, we saw a mid siege machine, probably a RAM. I would like to know if we have a siegecrafter or if can buy one and how it is going to cost?

Don't know the full details as I haven't done it (yet), but ...

Siege machines are made up from several component parts which each have to be made by people with different craftskills - as an armourcrafter I can make ram cladding for example. One crafter cannot make all the parts. All (?) high level crafters have siegecrafting skill and can make the final machine.

You therefore need to get a high level (500+ I believe) crafter from each craft type. They then make the parts. You then carry the parts to the battlefield and a high level crafter then has to assemble them to the final machine !
Someone also has to 'control' the machine i.e. load/fire etc it and cannot do anything else.

Not sure if all (any) of the machines can be moved once made, so you have to make them in situ.

EDIT: they are pretty expensive to make as well

As a middie talking to the Hibs not sure I should share this but If your trying to get the damn allbs out of the BG keep good luck to ya

My information is from the last patch so it might be cheaper now.

A Ram will set you back about 50 gold if you buy all the bits from your realms merchant keep - you dont have to have any crafters to make the bits it just reduces the cost.

The bits can be moved but the finished ram cant be so assemble it right by the door. Youll need a minimum of three people to carry it but try not to split it amongst too many or you'll end up losing bits to LD people.
