Tsunami Alert for New Zealand, the Philippines, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Hawaii, and others. Waves expected over the next few hours, caused by 8.9 earthquake in Japan.

I also heard it may hit South America and parts of Russia too

Aye, certainly sucks to be them hopefully they got more warning this time and can actually move away from the coast until the waves have been and gone.
