OT-New hardware needed need help

I have £300 to spend on a new motherboard and chip I was wondering what the best one would be to get at this point in time

Especially for gaming

hmm not sure about what mobo to use with it but the new AMD Thoroughbred 2200+ cpu looks nice especially at a bargain £180ish inc vat. Cheaper than the Pentium Northwoods anyway.

Get a KT333 (Abits MAX motherboard without legacy ports are good - the media XP addon rocks to) some nice DDR333 ram and an XP2000 should do you fine matey.
