Organised Battlefields

I'm tired of only meeting large armys at keep raids or relic raids only. Tired of 50 albs gagging my 8 ppl group. I'd like to try something else than the normal Emain RvR so give my small post a thought.

I'd like to make it possible to fight even armys without any walls to protect someone. Without any guards to come and rape us when fighting someone else. To get 50 ppl from 2 realms together to just make a real middleage battlefield. With ppl just storming each other and to keep mezzing to a minimum.
That's what i personaly hunger for atm.

Anyone got the same feeling?

Yea, I always hate it when I'm running through emain on my own(I have no friends ) that I get mezzed, stunned and then blown to pieces by 6 caster, 10 archers and a few tanks

Basicly, what you say is, no mezzing... No rooting, just a big 50vs50 battle... It'll never happen...

What I'd propose is, if you have a small group vs a much larger group, why not /bow to each other and do a fair fight... It happend far to often that I'm running through hibernia, I meet like 4 yellows, 2 oranges and a red... And they all charge to me and I die in 3 seconds, 4 if I'm lucky, common brave souls at least let the red solo me

But I guess that'll never happen either... Oohwell...

It would be cool - 2 armies meet at neutral terrain, and when the sign comes they rush towards eachother and slice n dice what they can... Sorry, left me Braveheart gear on there

But it would be excellent with even armies and without them buggery guard patrols

great idea . but will it happen ? i seriously doubt it . there will always be people out there solo or in small grps who will want to up there rp's

mes / root / paralyse is the reason ppl use sorcs etc in RvR ...

you cant have a fight without that unless u only invite tanks

i would LOVE to see this happen, but im afraid the possibilites are rather slim. with such a huge crowd everyone will know and when everyone knows i can guarantee you people will appear for the sole reason of destroying and killing everything they see.

/me eagerly awaits the duel/arena feature (won't take more than 3+ years i think)

real war is seldom organised only the factions fighting it are organised not the fighting itself

but it would be kewl if two armies charged each other no casters or anything like that just tanks and just charged into eacht other alb would win though we got more ppl

Indeed we should do a tank only night. But there are always people spoiling the fun... Even at the big Beta event people were killing rather someone they wanted to kill for a long time then to kill the big demon..

Well all i have to say is this......move onto the usa servers like i did.
People say they aint prepared to start again from scratch, but its nothing like that at all.

Takes 1 week max to get to lvl 20, then you can start rvring with enemies the SAME LEVEL as you because the usa has 3 battlegrounds...

BattleGround 1 - level 20-24
BattleGround 2 - level 25-29
BattleGround 3 - level 30-34

Each battleground has a keep in the centre of it which the 3 realms fight over. Its awesome fun, and im not pressured into powerlevelling to get to emain because i can fight in these battlegrounds.

Also off topic i get less lag, better connection to the game playing the usa servers, and best of all im playing 1.50C which rocks, darkness falls is unbelievable, and i'll always have the most up to date patches now
