Opus Bridge Sample Tracks

Hi guys, apart from gettnig exposure for the band, I want to get some opinion from people with varied music tastes.

A bit of history. Opus Bridge was formed by a friend of mine back in march of this year. All the members are experienced muscians. They recently spent a couple of days in a recording studio, and the results are excellent.

This probably won't be to everyone's taste, but please have a listen, let me know what you think.

Ok, gonna review it as I listen to it.

Clip 1, Ok, hmmm heh, dont know what to say about the singer, his voice has a nice rasp to it but it's abit all over the place, sounds kinda strained, but it definatly has potential. Musically the first tracks lyrics feels kinda generic but the chorus has potential if it was more supported by the music it could become a much better chorus. I like the bass sound, the drum could have been given more of a powerful sound imo (granted I always want higher drum sounds then most), the guitar is kinda non-present in most of the first sample except in the end and when it comes it's not very interesting.

Clip 2, nice bass, rougher vocals, nice backup scream, much better riff, better vocaldelivery although it slumps at times, guitar lead wooooh nice, "my personal hell takes the piss" heh.

Clip 3, hmmm tough cookie, again alot of variation in vocal volume and tone which really aint my thing (I hate emo btw), better then the first track. Not much to say really, if that's a good or bad thing ill leave to you guys.

Clip 4, nice start on the vocals (dunno if that's cus they are lower volume), best track vocally. Again nice bass, best guitar apart from the lead in clip 2, ok track.

There we go, best of luck and remember emo sucks teh ballz. Oh and im a mean reviewer so dont take offense if you dont agree about something.

From what I heard it was pretty good and I agree with most of what Shanks said (Harder/faster would be cool too )
