Anyone collecting the 24 cards from the Optimax dream car offer at Shell?

You have to collect 24 cards (obviously), you get 6 per purchase, doesn't matter if you spend a quid or 50 quid. Get all 24 = given extremely expensive new car.

Competition is only a month long, so time is pressing! If anyone wants to do a trade and share the prize (once sold) I don't mind!

I have about 12 cards right now, got a few spare if anyone wants them.

So, in return for going to a Shell garage 4 times this week and buying a pack of B&H each time, I get an extremely expensive new car?

Well you need one of each card from the set of 24. Doubtless some will be rare.

Well, from the site it seems as though there will only be 6 of a certain card. As such, sounds bloody unlikely you'll find that one :\

I bet there are some that haven't even been made. I spent 50 quid on WWF wrestling stickers when I was a baby and I still didn't finish the book. Actually. I don't think I even had a book. At least I could make decorating a nightmare by sticking stickers everywheres. OMG SHINEYYSS!!1

I almost won 50,000 via the coke bottle special thing they did about 6 years ago. Collect ringpulls and bottle caps with the numbers 1-11 in them and you win 50 grand...

After collecting them for several months and trading with others I managed to get 1-9 and 11... number 10 could not be found. I checked with hundreds of people and not one person had ever seen the number 10. I concluded that there were only 5 10's around in the country (5 main prizes) and that I had no way of knowing where or when they were shipped. This is why I now think these contests are quite pointless.

The rare cards could be released in a completely different area from you and as such you would never ever get it, you don't know when they are released. They could have all been found already, or they could release them on the last day of the contest...

There are too many variables.. I would love to get inside some of these companies and see how they actually do it
