To play you have to upgrade your opposing forces setup to the latest version 1.1.0.0 (this is newer than the upgrade distributed with the Halflife 1.1.0.1 upgrade) the file is available here:

There's a newer version of OpFor out.

"Opposing Force patch upgrade v1.1.0.1, By Gearbox Software
This is the latest OpFor patch w/ CTF. It includes two new maps and a number of new features."

And anyone who has upgraded cannot join the new Barrysworld Opposing Force servers.

Umm, this server does not work ... it does exactly what it did when Dr Chris and I tried before ... does not allow access to anyone ... not a client.dll problem but just disconnection across the board.

Sierra still have not brought out a WIN compatible server software, however they do have a Linux version which does work. That's what I thought BW were going to use (as Dr Chris said you had new equipment on the way).

Additionally if people have upgraded their PC version of Op4 to 1101 they cannot back overwrite to get 1000-1100 so unless a new update is added, this won't work.

Please advise.

Well,

As for nobody being abe to connect, I can connect to both without _any_ problems.

I was unaware of the 1.1.0.1 patch - wasn't on planethalflife when I looked yeterday, so I'll upgrade the server tonight when I get a chance.
