Whats everyones oppinions on artifact camping ive only one account. So when i gett to articfact spots the one's I can solo I find a grey con character or a bb just standing there waiting for it to pop while the person is playing there main char else where..

Is it rude to intrude and kill the mob if it pops becuase if im getting very wound up all week now the the spots are camped with bb's or grey cons wating for it to spawn... While the person is busy playign game with there main character.

I suppose i could sit there myself for 7 to 12 hours on some mobs but i cannot do sod all as one account so i keep runing back only to find it camped..

Im not one to just barge in and kill it but if the mob is camped by a grey or bb char that cant kill it do you agree its only fair i step in and kill the fecker as. this camping is doing my head in

this came up before if the person camping there isn't able to pull the mob (unless there is obvious signs of a grp wipeout and they are returning) then you can pull away if there is a group there and they are able to pull (it could of just popped) then unless you can join em its there pull.

if it is an active/alive/real/not botted person there, i would give them the courtesy of attempting the encounter

if it's a bbot or inactive afk-check-every-10mins type affair, i wont hesitate.

Well this is how I do it :
1) I PM the BB/grey con and ask him "u there?", if no reply in 30+- secs then ..
2) PM him again and say "Ok, I suppose u are afk and dont mind if I kill the encounter/mob", if no reply in 30 secs then ..
3) I kill the mob and if he PM me back while killing it, then I just say that u were afk and not answering to PMs so I killed the encounter.

This is imo the only way to do things as regarding afk artifact mob camping.

Give the bot a minute, or 2 if your feeling generous, then just pull the mob if they dont.

My opinion is that you cant camp a mob or a camp spot with less people than it takes to pull the mob in question...if you cant pull, you cant camp.

Also, in the case of, say, a lvl 20 bot, they CANNOT camp a lvl 50 artifact mob...they cant pull it, they cant kill it, so they therefore cant be actively camping it...none of this "wait while i bring my lvl 50 animist from hadrians wall to pull the mob"....it's just not on.

With so many people waiting for rare spawns and artifact mobs not dropping their atrifacts 100% of the time it has to be first come, first serve.

Happened before TOA also, one time we found a BB standing at fins near granny hill in CF (hope i remember the place right). We asked if we could pull, no answer.. Waited for a few minutes and started pulling, half hour later ppl came to claim the spot cause their BB was there, they were doing nightspawn at another spot.

So, ask and if no responce, pull and try to get the BB killed by mobs.. (if a bard is with you pull a mob and cast confuse:d)

if its a buffbot or a grey con ignore em. Might want to wait a minute or 2 incase there is a NS or ranger there stealthed waiting for the mob to move to an ideal position If its a buffbot or greycon, kill the mob, and if u get the artifact then send him something "haha I got it u gay camping freak, fo and get a life!!!", do /vic lots, /dance a bit, and send him some more abuse for being a lame camping gimp. Then he can read it and see it when he next checks

If the mob is up - I usually pm greycons/bb's/any alt camper with this sort of message "You have 2 mins from now to log your main and pull otherwise I am, sorry, tough luck". I give em 2 mins incase they fighting on their main character so it gives em time to log it. I'll pm after 2 mins saying "Pulling it", no response and I'm afraid It's my mob. I think this is more than enough courtesy.

artifact mobs are just like any other mobs.. if u pull them with a grp.. then they are "yours"

it doesnt matter who else is there.. if its a grey bb.. they can fo.. u wouldnt stand for that kinda of thing at fins would you?..

"grp taking a break but this spot camped" from a lvl 30 bb..

if you take a grp that is ready to do the artifact and pull it.. its yours.. campers can fuck off and die imo.

ofc common sense needs to be used if more than 1 grp at a spot.. sort it out via pm.. but under NO circumstances can a solo player claim a spot is camped if that player isnt pulling mobs himself. its against mythics own rules.
