opinions on cd-rwers

Hiya, basically going on holidays in 3 weeks, got lots of mp3's, got a portable cd player but i have no cd writer. Basically i can't spend a lot as i really don't have enough money atm. I saw this cheap liteon one. Just want to know if its any good or is there no point getting such a cheap one?

We use that exact model at work for backing up stuff smaller than DVD sized, not had a single failure with it yet so I'd say it was pretty reliable

I got a Lite-On DVD player, I was surprized it is quite good quality for such a cheap product.

That's the drive I've got for this new PC. Not used it much yet, burnt one audio CD so far. Took 5 mins, I was pleasantly surprised (not having owned one before).

I'm a bit late but I too have recently bought that Lite-On CD-RW, as wel as their DVD drive.

Can thoroughly recommend them both. And yes, it is surprising considering how cheap they are.
