I've been working on my slash infil's template, and so far this is what I've come up with...

its lacking in resists tho, and I wouldn't be able to use a legendary in MH.

But I would appreciate any advice, pointers, suggestions or simply just a better alternative...

Looks ok imo ...

Main QQ is low Hp i think ... u could get 350+ if u change afew items :D

Also 11% heat ... im thinking about running same on my new template ... but i will seriously need ure cl resists to make this viable ...

Also +11 DW would be a bonus ...

Nice first try ... but u can do better imo ;)

Thanks for answering :)

My DW will be 46 at 50, will respec at RR6 if I get that far. But with 46 at 50, and RR4 being quickly optained, I would have 46+4 with my template in mind... that should be 50 effective, and that should mean max dmg output from DW styles, shouldn't it?

At RR6 I'd go 34 slash, 34 poi, 34 crit, 50 DW, 34 stealth...

29 +18 ENV (+11 on 2 x Sc'ed bits of af2 cloth)

My Sara only needs 65 Qui in Sc for 250 cap.

umm, Ging why don't you have +11cs or +11dw? Some temps ditch one, you've ditched both? i assume you will use CS styles with that spec (since its a similar one to mine), so the more +cs you get the more dmg your cs styles will do Oo

Well why do you need cold ging :p most of your fights will be vs stealthers or soloing tanks no? if you go after an sm thats your own problem... capped or close to capped cold won't help you any if sm pet does nothing but intercept and sm spam laughs you as it lifetaps you to death anyway... or mocs... :x bottom temp where u dropped it is much better than first :>

surviavabilty basically, i did the last 600k to rr8 in a 500g temp that made strong use of auralite items :). This was "adequate" in the sence it capped dex (i was thrust), melle resists, heat and body. unfortunalty it had fook all spirit, cold, matter, energy. I had too many releases caused by enemys using spirit/matter/sun weaps and ofc the odd lazy fucker who couldnt be arsed to chage from a cold weap.

I've been trying for months and it must be 50 temps discarded due to one reason or another, one of the reasons i gimped my dmg output in temps above (no +CS or +DW) was to give an excellent set of resists. When i finally do settle on a temp I'm happy with have heal and LT procs for the armour. ive finally settled on a MH free temp that will allow the use of SC'ed heat, cold, matter, spirit weaps + sun weap. I dont want a single "chinck in the armour" that can be exploited. One theory is to make the suit so defensive as to demoralise the enemy as they see -fuckingshitloads everytime they hit.

I had considered a pure DPS suit but that would be hit/miss about 50% of the fights I have, not to mention will be crap against 2/3 enemys vs me - which i consider a certainty.

If possible capped magic resists + cl resists + aom4 should make me as immune to lgms as possible (approx 40-50%).

Melee resists with +3 from GSV u can cap at about 30% + CL resist = 35%

So first objective is acheived to nullify opponents dmg as much as possible.

The MH free part will allow me to test opponent resists as well as allow reapplication of poisens (essential imo). If what you say about Cold lgm usage is true then there will be alot of cold succeptable enemys out there who have listened to your sage advice, i dont plan to be one of them :)

I dont want a single "chinck in the armour" that can be exploited. One theory is to make the suit so defensive as to demoralise the enemy as they see -fuckingshitloads everytime they hit.

I had considered a pure DPS suit but that would be hit/miss about 50% of the fights I have, not to mention will be crap against 2/3 enemys vs me - which i consider a certainty.

If possible capped magic resists + cl resists + aom4 should make me as immune to lgms as possible (approx 40-50%).

Melee resists with +3 from GSV u can cap at about 30% + CL resist = 35%

So first objective is acheived to nullify opponents dmg as much as possible.

The MH free part will allow me to test opponent resists as well as allow reapplication of poisens (essential imo). If what you say about Cold lgm usage is true then there will be alot of cold succeptable enemys out there who have listened to your sage advice, i dont plan to be one of them :)

I also study'd most of the templates on daoctemplates.net and here on FH, and made an average of the enemie resists. I looked to the resist that came out lowest, and made that resist my mainhand legendary weapon.
Believe me, there's allot of ~400 (+xxx) inthere ;-)

thats 46af not 40 i think? I believe its +6af on ring not +6af cap ?

as far as i'm aware, GsV and champ bonuses (ie cl5) don't stack? So i think it should read

crush: 26 + 0 + 5 - 5 (armour table) = 26%
thrust: 23 + 3 + 5 + 10(armour table) = 41%
slash: 26 + 2 + 5 = 33%

yea i wasnt sure of dmg table value - herald site i look at just said vunrable or not.

Ill check CL resist and GSv tonight if i can ever get away from my desk...

o another point :E

28con on mainhand means everytime u swap the lw out, u lose 28con = loss of hp. When u put the new lw in the total hp will go up, but ur current hp will still show that loss.

which is why a new perspective is important :)

i hadnt considered that so well spotted. ill see if i can tweek it a bit more - shouldn't be that hard to swap the vaulue with something on an armour piece.

especially if u think of it with CL sists up assuming ofc u have em
modding resists to include CL and then - the leather weaknesses and include racial resists for a saracen
