Thx for all the ALbs and Hibs who came and join the fun, when we started we had a simple goal to get 2 keeps in one sitting and then maybe get a third one, we expected heavy resistance from hibs sicne they would be mad about losing one relic already, but over the night we got all hibbie keeps and decided to attack the relic keep just to finish of the evening, i went LD and had some render stuff problems, but thx to the many albs who joined a fun evening and thx to the few hibs who came out to play, didnt see mids since they were camping amg and we werent near there.

So thx all for a good evening that wasnt placed in odins for once

That was damn fun tonight.

After the first couple of keeps we had the routine fairly precise and the order that things needed doing done quite well.

A few times we got hit from behind while attacking defended keeps but still, people were paying attention and we did pretty well, resisting the urge to be lured off and smeared for the most part.

The final siege at Dagda was a huge amount of fun. It seemed to last ages.

No relics to take home but well, owning all our own keeps and Hibs at the same time at one point made us chuckle a bit.

/salute to the Hibs that came out tonight and gave us some fun fights and a final crackerjack siege. Since its expected I have to say the obligatory nerf shrooms :D

Oh, by the way, how much fun is nearsight? I was giggling like a loon as I worked my way along the long line of Hibby casters and archers at Dagda :D
After I'd done that a couple of times it felt like I was being perma-targetted lol.

Am impressed with the general behaviour of Albs on the last few raids. Been topnotch, very attentive and people throwing themselves at different tasks rather than having to be cajoled into doing things that are needed. Good show from all :)

Hoho, you spoiled my evening. I was watching a stealther dueling competition when 90 Albs were reported in our frontier. So off we trot to Dagda for defense. Three hours later I've missed the final of the competition and the Albs are still farting around somewhere. All Hibs keeps are gone and we're thinking "They must be able to find Dagda now" people who have to go to work tomorrow started logging. When about half or two thirds of defenders have logged, in come the Albs. Felt like you were playing "who can wait longest" rather than actually making a combat-based approach to attacking.

The irony is, if you'd hit us quickly after Scath, about an hour before you actually did, you'd have had a good chance of getting in. Most of the defenders were wiped at Scath and you had all but one Hib keep. Instead of hitting us before the dead Hibbies could get inside Dagda, you plodded around for another hour. Seemed a crazy decision to me, but then I suppose you couldn't see our Dagda forces.

Ah well, if we can cut out the pointless waiting, I guess some relic raiding activity could get us some fun fights ahead.

Aye the poitnless waiting around was for us to take ainslee or whatever and then send the zerg back to fetch rams from dun Crimthian and clean out the 5 fg's mids blocking our relic escape. which meant that 2 hours later we were able to assult the relic keep but low and behold it was full of shrooms and hibbies casting yet more shrooms :p

GOOD FUN FOR ALL I THINK AND LOTS OF LESSONS TO BE LEARNED :D

Dragged on a little late but yeah, it was fun, first opportunity for real RvR on my Eldie (Vava) and enjoyed it for the most part, made a couple or three realm levels, got a few deathspams, and found out that I was in the group of the Kamikaze Kings ("Come on lads, we'll jump out of Dagda, yes all seven of us, right? OK, then we'll loop around and charge all 90+ of them from behind" :eek7: )

Obligatory nerfs:

(1) The Necc who spent the entire Scath siege stood in the lord room as we defended and were unable to do anything about him..... you have to admit that's a bit sick

(2) The death of a druid (yes, a Bot) in the inner keep room in Dagda due to the magic arrows (available to all realms ofc) that can fly through walls, floors, you name it)

Anyway, good fun and thanks for setting me up to sit like a zombie at my desk all day today

Thanks for a good everning Oo - we did not dare to take our forces against your numbers because we where bound to split up at some point and get wiped. I mean 75 albs -> 80 albs -> 98 albs and more reported to sit in emain. So we thought we'd gamble you and jump to the keeps you where likely to hit next ... we gambled wrong and just waited in scath at the end. Was a good fight, the only thing that got me worked up was the necro at the top of the tower in the lords room, not able to hit him but he kept spamming battlewards. Its a good idea but a tad silly ... something Mythic should look in to imho.

Nice to see so much Alb action.. actually made Emain fun to be in.. Just a bit sad to see all those off peak, middle-of-the-night RR-raids and attempts.. glad u didn't get last two power relics while everybody, who has to get up in the morning, was sleeping..

heh hibs are funny nowadays, when we decided to go to sleep (just after albs took the last keep) we said lets suicide on the relic keep, se we went there set up fop, speedwarp, mana drain wards, titans etc just to see if we can kill some hibbies who dare to come down :d (we were with 1 fg ) we killed some guards, and had really big lag from rk , I think about 60-80 hibs were there or even more, but no hibbies came down oO this continued for about 6 mins, titans died and look some hibbie stealther dare to shoot us ^^ anyway we killed about 8-10 hibbies after we got fg from behind and 50 from the relic keep and got wiped . think other hibbies were just sleeping :p

anyway we had some very nice fights in collory, much more better place for fights than emain imo :D so lets make this kind of event daily pls :p

it was a case of "come on we outnumber then, lets kill em all" and "no we w8 its a trap, we need everybody here in rk", so yes some of us did get a little pissed with yer fg and went down and killed ya but nm

aye its true we wasted some time going back to DC but attacking Dagda <yes i finally realised what Dagda is> without any Trebs or Rams would have been suicide, and we wouldnt have stood a fighting chance.

But yes it was great fun and i agree with Elim nerf shrooms they made me hungry for an omelet in the middle of the night :)

We'd seen you with the main Alb zerg at Scath, so we'd have been a bit silly to say "Oh look there's a lone Alb group, let's all leave the keep." We were massively out-numbered on the final battle. That lag you felt was from our shrooms. If we'd have left the defensive position of the keep, we'd have lost our relics.

In terms of priorities, wiping out one group standing near Dagda doing no harm is pretty low. Given that you claim you were suiciding anyway, I suppose we were right not to bother.

I've said it in another thread, but I'll say it again in case people didn't get it. Animists will be unable to use shrooms in the same way come NF. Shroom hit points are reduced by 60% and - more importantly - the snap effect is removed (meaning we have to stand in a window for 5 secs per shroom). Come NF, a battle like last nights would probably have been won by Albion. There's nothing we can really do about this. We're doing our best, but we need people to start playing Hib if we're going to have reasonably balanced battles post-1.70.

While it's all very very to be able to summon 15 static turrets to help me defend, I'd much rather each animist could summon 2 or 3 more Hibs.

i did post we were at scath only during keep takes , read all posts :p I didnt want to say any bad about hibs , jsut we didnt understand why didnt u zerg out from dagda to kill fg alb (u must know its fg as at least 6-8 ranger were shooting us from side-behind all the time oO ) and as I said we were killing guards, I even ran up to mezz ppl at first gate, and mezz the shrooms too, while others killed the lil rangers who tried to kill me during it :p (not even mention that albs just took last keep (nearly in the minutes we were at rk) which is far from dagda and as we know what speed alb zerg moving mostly it should take a lot of time to get rk but nm, this wasnt my point, u just read from my post the parts u like not the full post ;p )

it still was a great night, we got loads of rps and had fun. so nice event.

I did read your post, but you need to think for a second.

You've got a group of Hibs waiting in Dagda for Albs to arrive. Dagda's a fairly safe bet for people on a relic raid and the one place we can't afford to lose. The Albs are running around invisible to us (our keeps in your hands). The one time we see reports of which Albs are where is at the Scath battle. During that battle you names are up there with the rest of the zerg.

What reason would be have to believe you were only with the zerg for that battle?

In a relic defense, you don't go chasing people when there could be a force with superior numbers about to hit the relic keep. What would be the point?

Saying mids camped amg is partially bs, we came to Hib relic keep with a fg just to get zerged by you albs! :touch:

So I think an apology is in order, for the free RP we donated to you! :fluffle:
