Opera M2 BW pop3 problem

Hi, perhaps someone can help me.

I use Opera M2 to access my BW pop3 account.. usually works dandy, until last night and today.

Im getting an error saying "esperi@barrysworld.com
POP3 server unavailable. Network problems? [Server response:+ UGFzc3dvcmQ6]"

All my other mail accounts are fine, just BW and just from last night. (BW Webmail is fine tho so I can access my mail.. just wondering whats up)

Opera version 7.20 beta
OS WinXP pro

As far as I know, the BarrysWorld mail server is fine, or at least it seems to be have been okay for myself over the period you mention.

Not using M2 myself, it's hard for me to give any specific advice, but you might want to try reentering all your BW account details. If that doesn't work, then try removing your BW account (providing, of course, this doesn't erase any messages and such you need) and recreating it. If that doesn't work, then grab Opera 7.20 Beta 11 and see if that makes any difference.

Sorry, I meant delete the account on the client side (i.e. in the list of mail accounts in M2) not actually delete it from BarrysWorld proper.

Thanks for the reply Jonty, problem solved eventually. After searching the Opera Beta fourms for a while I read that changing the Pop3 authentication to plaintext solves many of these errors .. worked first time :| I'd actually forgotten I was running the beta until I posted my first message
