Great attacking game, some superb goals..

England though have nothing to fear from Germany, Owen and Rooney will eat that defence alive. If the rumours about the ball is true then I cant wait for Gerrard to play xD

i didnt think much of the game tbh, sure the goals were nice but that can be put down to the new ball and the shit defenders, 2 sub standard teams slugging it out. cant wait to play germany with that defence vs our set pieces and beckhams pin point delivery

Was a great game, the athmosphere in germany is incredible...watched it with about ~7000 other ppl. Rly nice.
German offense was great, and the defense either, but well Friederich sucked 2 times. And England isn't really as good as you say.

It will never get to penaltys ;D. As my man raven said Wanchope is nothing on Owen/Rooney..they will distroy you. However if it does go to penaltys, im teleporting to germany to break crouch's legs to make sure he cant take one.

i saw nothing special coming from the Germany side, the defense in my opinion was chronic, and to let a played like Wanchope to score 2 against you.. well i cant wait to own you :/

I think the game didn´t show any relevant facts whatsoever. Our defence was bad, duh!, the rest was ok-ish. If GER has to play ENG, I`m expecting a tight and physical match with quite a lot of goals. Lets see how good your offence really is.

Frings goal was straight out of the top drawer. No keeper in the world would of stopped that (perhaps Schmeichel in his prime). The bend on it was sublime!

TBH IMO the way germany played i aint to sure they will go through to next round..

ecuador will beat germany IMO ... and they way poland played so bad "they aint a bad team" i wouldnt be suprised if poland beat germany next game also. hence ecuador and poland go through.

Btw. the second goal was offside, television showed it with some strange computer programms. And the first goal...well Friedrich was too stupid and didn't run forward. Hmm haven't seen any other shoots on the german goal, you did ?

you were playing one of the worst teams in the competition and conceded 2 goals, against anyone with a half decent squad 2 goals would kill you off, sure the german goals looked nice but they werent exactly technical master pieces, they were goals from un marked wide open players, vs anyone else you wouldnt be able to shoot from there.
the german team is not what it used to be, you will go through to the next round but no further.
